Default Email Notification

General Settings- Enter the technician's email address or distribution list address. This email address will be the default email address assigned to any new or undefined Product ID's. 

Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) - Enter the outgoing mail server connection type.

Select the 'Encrypt data between AlarmTraq and mail server' protects the privacy of the message by converting it from plain, readable text into cipher (scrambled) text.

If you select 'Use DNS to send mail (Internet Mail)' AlarmTraq will act as the originating mail server and will perform a DNS query for the MX record associated with the reciepients email address domain. The email message will be sent directly from AlarmTraq to the receipients mail server supplied by the DNS query.

If you select 'Use email server to send mail (MS Exchange)' AlarmTraq will act as a mail client and relay mail through the specified mail server
